Sharing & Caring Foundation of Camden County

PURPOSE:
The Sharing & Caring Foundation of Camden County is the result of three-years of research and planning to develop a new way of funding the needy charitable and service organizations that provide service to our county.Sharing & Caring works to raise funds through methods not used by the organizations that it supports. By seeking alternative sources of funding, Sharing & Caring generates financial support without interfering or limiting the fund raising efforts of the very groups it supports. The goal in giving money locally, is not to provide all the money a non-profit may need to operate, but to be a source of help at their more critical times. Any non-profit group in Camden County is eligible to apply once a year for money that has been raised through the Sharing & Caring Foundation’s efforts. A Committee comprised of a cross-section of Camden County residents will determine who priority funding recipients will be, and then hold them accountable for spending that money in the same fashion that their application dictated.Every effort will be made to use the donations made by Camden County residents in a way that will maximize the benefits they can bring to our county neighbors in need.
