Camden Sharing and Caring Foundation needs you!

All of the money stays in Camden County.

Volunteers from all walks of life are needed.

In their monthly meeting Dec. 8, the Board of the Sharing & Caring Foundation approved the following grants for the 2012 calendar year. S&C grant requests totalled $54,794, but only $30,000 was available for distribution.

Camden County Child Advocacy - $1,000 - socks & underwear program

Children's Learning Center - $750 - learning equipment and supplies

Citizens Against Domestic Violence - $2,500 - men's domestic violence intervention program

Faithbridge Church/Feed the Children - $450 - 25% of food drop cost - 8 tons, March 2012

Lake Area Big Brothers/Big Sisters - $500 - 25% of cost for eight mentoring matches

Lake Area Helping Hands - $3,000 - transportation, medical, food and facility expense for residents

Lamb House - $6,000 - utility assistance prevention program - $100 per family

Lighthouse Transitional Housing - $4,000 - men's transportation, housing & basic needs

Medical Missions for Christ - $4,500 - medication; facility utilities; computer support

Pathways Behavioral Healthcare - $800 - children's learning materials/workbooks

Share the Harvest Food Pantry - $4,000 - laundry detergent for 350 families per month

Sweet Dreamzz - $500 - flame retardent pajamas and books for needy kids

Woman to Woman - $2,000 - 25% of cost for Power Up Program for job skills/placement program
